Happy September! 9/2/21

Here's your friendly reminder that this is a transition time. Everyone is or will be going through routine changes soon, from adjusting to cooler weather to school and activities. And with change comes all sorts of feelings - excitement, nervousness, sadness, comfort, or even just feeling out of sorts. Kids now will especially be experiencing some or all of these. The weeks leading up to school and the weeks settling in are often full of trouble sleeping, melt downs, extra sensitivity, plus some more positive feelings all mixed together. And if kids are experiencing these, parents are feeling the change too. So, if you're a parent, a kid, or someone with these people in their lives or just a person in general moving into Fall, treat yourselves and them with compassion and understanding. We'll all be settling in again soon!
