Lynda Savage, M.S., LMFT, LPC

Founder

Lynda Savage earned her degree from the University of Superior and completed further studies at Boston University, Texas A&M, Trinity Evangelical Divinity school and others. Lynda obtained diplomate status in Family Systems at Northwestern University Department of Psychiatry, Evanston, Illinois. Lynda is a Clinical Member and Approved Supervisor of the American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy. Lynda has provided professional counseling and therapy since 1969.

Brenda Spina, M.S., LMFT, LPC

Director, Clinical Family Therapist

Brenda Spina, M.S., LMFT, LPC is a Clinical Family Therapist and serves as the Director of the Center for Family Healing. She completed her Bachelors Degree in Education at Central Bible College in Springfield, Missouri. After serving as coordinator of Christian Education at First Assembly of God for four years, she returned to the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater for her Masters Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy. Brenda is a clinical member of the American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy and holds ministerial licensing with the Assemblies of God.
Brenda's experience in working with individuals, couples, and families integrated with her work as a religious educator provides a solid base in understanding the current problems families face in today's world.

Christine Vander Wielen, M.S.S.W., LCSW

Clinical Therapist

Christine Vander Wielen, M.S.W., LICSW earned her Bachelor of Arts Degree, majoring Psychology from Marquette University and her Master of Social Work degree with an emphasis on Clinical Social Work from Boston College.
Christine felt the call to help others early in life. This became very clear to her while working as a caseworker in a foster care agency. As a caseworker, Christine primarily worked with children who had experienced significant loss, abuse, and trauma. She was then asked to supervise a psychiatric hospital diversion program for children and adolescents. Through her experience, Christine saw the impact a disruptive and chaotic home environment had on the mental, emotional, physical and psychological health of children. She witnessed also how the marital relationship sets the tone for the other relationships in the family. Christine returned to school and attended Boston College to study Clinical Social Work. She now is a clinical therapist that works with individuals of every age, couples, and families to improve relationships and increase functionality. Christine specializes in treating depression, anxiety, survivors of abuse, relationship difficulties, and parenting issues. Her approach to therapy is rooted in the principle that all healing comes from God and that through Him true healing and restoration is always possible.

Carrissa Pannuzzo, M.A., LMFT, LPC

Clinical Therapist

Carrissa Pannuzzo has a Master's degree in Professional Counseling with an emphasis on Marriage and Family Therapy from Liberty University and is a member with the American Association of Christian Counselors. She has a passion for helping restore relationships and bringing healing to individuals through God's truth revealed through His Word and psychology ("the study of the soul/self"). Carrissa also had the opportunity to work with the mentally ill inmates during her internship at Liberty University and pioneered the prison's first Forgiveness Therapy group with significant results. Carrissa has experience with individuals and families struggling with issues including depression, anxiety, clinical disorders, pornography addiction, marital issues, pre-marital preparation, and more.

Cheryl Welch, BSN, RN, M.S., LPC

Clinical Therapist

Cheryl Welch received a Master of Science degree in Professional Counseling from Mid America Christian University. Her undergraduate degree is a Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing from Goshen College and is a licensed in Wisconsin as a Registered Nurse. She is a member of the American Association of Christian Counselors, American Counseling Association, and is presently enrolled at Capella University working on a PhD in Counseling Education and Supervision. Cheryl believes individuals have great capacity to make changes in their situations when they are ready and her role is to provide support and appropriate tools to help them address their issue(s). Cheryl is experienced working with individuals and families working with issues related to marriage and family, relationships, grief, sexual assaults, pornography addiction, depression, anxiety, clinical disorders, and career counseling. She provides group therapy for grief counseling that has supported individuals effectively process their grief.
